The parade of Brooklyn rappers jumping on the beat from Jay-Z's "Brooklyn (Go Hard)" just got longer, as Mos Def has dropped his own version of the song that finds the MC adopting a Jamaican patois for a while and name-dropping his neighborhood and points all over New York (like Albany). Mos doesn't really do much but replace Jay-Z's verse, so the song remains more faithful than a lot of the other versions floating around. [Real Talk NY]
haha, I might be wrong but I think he's talking about Albany Ave. in Brooklyn.
samson
and santogold still rocks it, nice.
Her verse is terrible on this song.
