Dance music sometimes takes the epic and the cheesy, and makes it fresh.Take Monarchy, a U.K. twosome whose name is both epic and cheesy. In a DJ set, this song would be played somewhere between Daft Punk and Scissor Sisters. Terrible lines like “crimson drops upon the ground,” and “while the angels gently weep” are somehow diluted and made acceptable by a polished voice and liquid house beat. Smooth operators.
Monarchy’s debut single comes out in February on Neon Gold, which has also produced singles for Passion Pit and Ellie Goulding. [Big Stereo]
The glissando at the beginning makes this sound a little too much like an American Idol audition/music I'd hear at Macy's.
What glissando? Are you listening to the same track? Or do you not know what a glissando is? All I can hear is pumping pads. Which sound fat to me.

"Between the clouds of faaaaaammmmeeeee ohohohohohhhhhh"
"Confusion all arooouuuunnnnndddd"
Ladies and gentlemen, I give you glissando. Not saying that there's not fat pads, but I'm indifferent to the vocals.
U r the best i love you
