Modest Mouse: "That'll Be The Day" (Buddy Holly Cover)
A week after the Black Keys' contribution to the Buddy Holly cover album, Rave On, was leaked, KCRW premiered Modest Mouse's oddball cover of "That'll Be the Day." It sounds like a Modest Mouse song more than a Buddy Holly song, which is usually how the judges of American Idol judge covers. They really made the song their "own." Rave On Buddy Holly is due out on July 28.
