Mobb Deep: "Illson 2012" F. Aaron LaCrate
Over the years, Milkcrate clothing company owner Aaron LaCrate has seen the likes of Eminem and Jay-Z rock his apparel. And rather than simply put out a tee inspired by Mobb Deep, LaCrate reached out to the Queens duo to record a new track dedicated to the Illson shirts. The result is "Illson 2012," a tough joint from Havoc and Prodigy that's got an ol' school NYC flair to it thanks to the choice drum break. It's a fine lil' appetizer (or snack, even) to lead up to the leaks we're destined to hear from their planned Black Cocaine EP, which drops Nov. 25.
