Mika Miko are often lumped in with the experimental punk bands that they populate the Smell with (like Abe Vigoda, HEALTH, and No Age) but their sound is the most conventional of all of them: straight punk with fuck-all abandon. “Wild Bore” is a good representation of the band’s work (power chord riffs, screaming, alternating vocals), and the video of the band jumping up and down on trampolines is a perfect match image-wise. The video was directed by Mika Miko member Jennifer Clavin, who also directed No Age’s “Goat Hurt” video.
