Answering the previously unasked question of what a music video that combines elements of Cormac McCarthy's The Road (pre-cannibalism and catamites, obviously), a John Varvatos fashion show, and occult effigy-burning might look like, Miike Snow's new video for "Silvia" is a dash of well-lensed dreariness to help you out when the Christmas cheer gets to be too much. Miike Snow will never be faulted for its production, and this song is no exception--a piano ballad with just the right synthetic touches to remind you that this was the same group that produced Britney Spears' "Toxic."
