M.I.A.: Shells (Slow) - MP3

This week, M.I.A. released How Many Votes Fix Mix, a three song EP centered on the “Boyz” remix with Jay-Z. Also included is “Shells,” a trademark M.I.A. groove that incorporates some of the Kala colors into something a bit more like the tracks on Arular. As usual, Maya provides you the opportunity to dance or think and leaves it up to you to decide. More recent fans who came on the Apatow Express and transferred to the “Paper Planes” Bandwagon Local will probably be a little lost at first, but hopefully they’ll remain focused on the beat and not give up on her so soon. Now available via iTunes.
