Paper Planes (Slumdog Millionaire Remix) (Video)

Average Rating: 5.50

M.I.A.'s "Paper Planes" got it's 2008 notoriety on the back of the Pineapple Express trailer, and now the song has been re-mixed for inclusion on the Slumdog Millionaire soundtrack, which M.I.A. has helmed. The new version has a bouncier, Bollywood-like bass line, and this new video is augmented with clips from the film. [Stereogum]

This is the DFA remix that has been around (and popular) for about a year now. It's really good, just odd that you would be reporting this as "re-mixed for the Slumdog Millionaire" soundtrack. Check out the Homeland Security Remixes - 5 different remixes of Paper Planes with this DFA mix being the stand-out track.
