Although some people were not as thrilled by M.I.A.'s new album /\/\/\Y/\ as her previous work, it's undeniable that she's done her best to make her presentations of new material pretty interesting. Maya purchased another domain name (http://4thepeopleontheboat.com) to showcase this unreleased demo she did with Diplo. Its demo form might explain its simplicity--the track features Maya dropping simple phrases like "you can have my money but you can't have me" in a repetitive, singsong fashion over a gurgling electronic beat that tones down some of the abrasive qualities of her recent album. Admitted /\/\/\Y/\ non-enthusiast Diplo voiced his approval for the track on Twitter, saying, and I quote: "that song has more sick lyrics and its classic mia vibe all u apathetic shitheadz."
