I have to admit I haven’t heard much of MGMT other than the ubiquitous “Electric Feel” and “Time to Pretend,” so the video of the band doing “Pieces of What” on Spinner’s Interface is kind of surprising for me—I thought the band’s only trick was doing stoned psychedelia, I had no idea they also did slow, boring ballads.
