Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, the film where a bassist has to battle the girl of his dreams' evil ex-boyfriends to win her heart, has recruited a pretty strong list of indie talent to provide the music for the movie and presumably bolster the movie's marketability to aesthetically ambitious teenagers (but the movie's already got Michael Cera and Jason Schwartzman, so does it need it?). Broken Social Scene, Sloan, and Beck as well as Metric have worked at providing music for the movie, and if you go to Metric's Facebook page and become a fan, you can hear "Black Sheep," the first original cut from the Scott Pilgrim soundtrack.
