Mercury Rev: Butterfly’s Wing (Video)

Mercury Rev fall firmly into the camp of bands that’s success is less than the success of an individual member, thanks to bassist Dave Frdmann’s bang-up production work for the likes of Flaming Lips and Tapes ‘n Tapes. But Mercury Rev are back with a new album, Snowflake Midnight, and a new Zen video for “Butterfly’s Wing.” The video features some pretty animation (that looks vaguely like it should be in a commercial) while the band’s psychedelic grooves float around like the leaves in the video.
