Menomena: "FIVE LITTLE ROOMS"
Expansive Portland rockers Menomena are returning after a three-year semi-hiatus with Mines, their fourth album and second for Barsuk. The first single from Mines, 'FIVE LITTLE ROOMS" (all the songs are in caps), is now available for download at the band's site, and over at Pitchfork for your listening pleasure. It's a good one--it's got a fat beat and the harmonies that have become synonymous with Menomena--and it bodes well for the rest of Mines, which is due out on July 27 via Barsuk.
