The Gary, Ind. native might have the nickname Gangsta Gibbs, but that doesn’t mean he has to act hard all the damn time. Some days, dude just wants to chill and enjoy the California sun. You know, like he does throughout the visuals for “Menace II Society,” just one of a slew of highlights on his latest mixtape, Cold Day in Hell.
I’m thinking he must have been inspired by the track’s guests, L.A. Dom Kennedy and Polyester. I mean, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a video featuring Kennedy where he’s not just hanging out and loving life. Maybe he has, but this is his lane and he knows how to stick to it and make it work.
