Memory Tapes: "Plain Material" (MP3)

"Plain Material" is a new Memory Tapes track that didn't make it onto the project's debut album Seek Magic, which is available now from Rough Trade shops. The track starts off with a pretty standard guitar, awash in reverb, before the essential, bedroom electronics kick in and make "Plain Material" sound like a Memory Tapes song. Today on the Weird Tapes blog, man behind the music Davye Hawk also posted a link to his "Magic Sequence" mix, which contains "two tracks from the album and a few recent remixes [Hawk's] done." The "Magic Sequence" mix can be downloaded for free here.
