As Hodgy Beats promised on his Twitter account, he has delivered a brand-new track from MellowHype, his duo with producer-rapper Left Brain. And oh man is it a grimy, haunting banger. "67" probably stems from MellowHype's forthcoming third album, MellowHype Numbers, which sounds like it's continuing that dark, borderline-hopeless vibe on certain Blackenedwhite cuts. You can thank Left Brain for that, as his morbid production blends low-lying warbling synths, accentuating keys, and booming drums behind Hodgy's versatile, topic-flipping flow.
