MED: "Where I'm From" f. Kurupt & Aloe Blacc (Remix)
While he's working on a currently untitled album, Stones Throw regular MED has put together an extended single of his 2010 highlight, "Where I'm From." And on that release, he's chosen to remix the track to include a new verse from Kurupt. The two West Coast rhymers sound right at home over Oh No's stuttering organs and punchy drums. Rounding out the remix is Aloe Blacc, who's thrown on his soulman-hat for the hook. It's a smooth, silky dedication to California that's good enough for anyone to enjoy, no matter which coast you call home.
