Well, it's actually here. MC Hammer, who became miffed after a line by Jay-Z in Kanye West's "So Appalled," wrote, recorded, and shot a video for his response to Jigga. In reality -- not the la-la land Hammer resides -- Jay was just making a quick reference to the fact that the man who was once "2 Legit 2 Quit" lost a lot of money.
But Hammer took it to heart and now we have the visuals for his diss. "Better Run Run" is, for lack of a better term, out-fucking-rageous. You get shots of a Jay-Z-esque character running through the woods from the devil and then finally admitting that the leader of the Roc is, indeed, satan himself. You also get to see Hammer strut his stuff with a crew of male background dances as he threatens to "bust" Jay in the mouth. And, really, that about sums it up, though don't think for a second you're going to want to pass on viewing this at least twice.
woah. also, the mumbled minute long intro in the boardroom of a mixed martial arts management really sets the tone. plus, Hammer baptising Jigga at the end of the clip. i forgot he was such a christian nutjob.
