It's looking like the promotional push behind Mayer Hawthorne's very good 2009 record, A Strange Arrangement, ain't done yet. His label, Stones Throw, has just released the visuals for "Your Easy Lovin' Ain't Pleasin' Nothin'," another breezy, blue-eyed soul track from the multi-talented artist who also produces and DJs under the name Haircut. For these visuals, though, he's still on his retro vibe, as are the females occupying the dance scenes. And while the modest eye candy is certainly a nice touch, I couldn't help but grin every time Hawthorne shuffled somewhat awkwardly next to all the ladies. Well, that and the pretty cool water effects.
