Ever imagine how Mayer Hawthorne's throwback soul would sound transported about 10 to 15 years in the musical future? Well, apparently DJ Jazzy Jeff was wondering just that as he has transformed Hawthorne's "No Strings" into a roller-skating jam straight out of the '80s. It might leave you wondering what would happen if Jeff decided to give the tracks off A Strange Arrangement a similar treatment. Hmm, I'd say it might just turn the blue-eyed soul into funky, disco jams. It wouldn't be the worst idea, especially because I feel like Dam-Funk needs some competition in that department.
