To celebrate his collaboration with designer Freegums and last tour date on April 15 in San Francisco, Mayer Hawthorne put together his own spin on Tony Bennet's "I Left My Heart in San Francisco." The crooner sticks pretty close to the original as he sings smoothly over a meandering piano. The track itself will appear on a heart-shaped USB stick packaged with Freegums' T-shirt, which I'm tempted to purchase. This isn't the first time Hawthorne offered a track on a heart-shaped medium. His first single "Just Ain't Gonna Work Out" was pressed on a heart-shaped, red LP.
You can learn more about the shirts and see a preview of them here.
That's Keith Hufnagel ollieing super high too
Thanks...I know nothing about skateboarding outside of the first few Tony Hawk games.
I'm surprised how much I like this.
