"Wraithlike," the first song from Maximo Park's third album, Quicken the Heart , to surface, did not fill me up with hope that the band's new album would correct the problems from their sophomore album, Our Earthly Pleasures . The set's first single, "The Kids Are Sick Again," just got a performance-heavy video, and this one is more promising: It returns the band to their less-electronic focused version of post-punk, even if they title and chorus seem ripped from a Who track.
Quicken the Heart is due out on May 11 via Warp. [ Pitchfork ]

I like their videos to be more performance based and with this video that's what you get. It has taken a bit of time for it to grow on me, I would have prefered Wraithlike to have been the first single, but after many listens to The Kids Are Sick Again I think that this may have been the better choice.
