Matt and Kim: "Northeast" (Live On KCRW) (Video)
This video of Matt and Kim performing "Northeast" on KCRW is notable for a couple reasons:
1. That it happened, because Matt and Kim are still out on their grind promoting a year-old album.
2. It's the first time I've ever seen them perform without their perma-smiles.
3. This is their first song that isn't overwhelmingly upbeat and shouty. This answers the question of what would happen if Matt and Kim went more than three hours without drinking a gallon of Five Hour Energy.
