There are some Mastodon fans out there who have become increasingly unhappy with the band's more recent penchant for prog-metal vibes. And those same fans will probably become annoyed with the fact that the band is releasing a DVD/CD, Live at the Aragon, that features the entirety of Crack The Skye played live. But you know what, that feeling should fade when you watch the above video for "Oblivion." Even with the proggy moments, the band's still churning out crushing riffs and has clearly remained faithful to metal. There's just more going on here, that's all. Also, the DVD/CD will contain tracks from earlier albums, so pre-Crack The Skye fans can look forward to that.
