I think the song sounds pretty good, but it's just missing something.

March 4, 2008 at 8:53 p.m.

I think the 'something' that you're searching for is quality. This song is a total clusterf_ck.

March 4, 2008 at 11:08 p.m.

It IS a clusterf*ck! DAMN!

March 5, 2008 at 1:22 a.m.

I think it would help if the bassline moved off of that one note. The chorus is decent but it would be so much better if there was a proper chord progression. There's so much going on but it just doesn't move.

March 5, 2008 at 10:27 a.m.

Fantastic. I love you. The worlds next number one hit.

Do you call this music? It's the most annoying noise I've ever heard!

March 6, 2008 at 1:47 p.m.

where is it so I can hear it? I can`t find the link.

Sorry. The audio was removed.

March 15, 2008 at 3:45 a.m.

That s*** suck.. i rather listen to Janet- Rock With U and Feedback then that mess.. 4 minutes also sound like a song we heard many times especially from timberland.. go figure..

March 16, 2008 at 12:09 p.m.

It is TIMBALAND u stupid hahaha

March 17, 2008 at 5:41 p.m.

Heard it on Z100 New York City radio station web site. The track is horrible. Hopefully the remaining songs on the new album with be better. Very disappointed. She needs to work with William Orbit again.

March 17, 2008 at 5:41 p.m.

This is without doubt the worst Madonna track ever. She used to be innovative but now is just following the likes of Nelly Futado, Mariah etc. Why have Justin Timberlake on a Madonna record. This Michael Jackson wannabe is awful. This clunking track goes nowhere and to say that it is repetitive rubbish is an understatement. I am a Madonna Fan, but I will not be buying this garbage.

March 17, 2008 at 10:32 p.m.

Lots of haters on here!! Im sure you all could do better.

March 18, 2008 at 2:18 a.m.

No. just honest fans that have an ear and can tell if a song is good. has nothing to do with being able to do better.

March 18, 2008 at 2:18 a.m.

The next big hit for 2008...

March 18, 2008 at 6:26 a.m.

i think its a really good tune!

March 18, 2008 at 12:13 p.m.

This is by far the worse ever Madonna song, it was on the radio this A.M I couldn't wait for it to be over, and I am a fan, this blows!

March 18, 2008 at 1:01 p.m.

I really have never been a huge Madonna fan, like some of her stuff from the 80's, and feel that she has built a career based more on controversy than talent, but it seems like everything Timbaland touches these days turns to gold. I don't think this track will be any different.

March 18, 2008 at 2:03 p.m.

I am more upset at both because their best music ( in Madonna 's vocals & Timbaland's production) I feel are far behind them but they will garner great respect for putting out very sub-par work.

March 18, 2008 at 3:53 p.m.

This song is not memorable like most of her tracks like Hung Up, Music, Ray of Light, Frozen etc. I was afraid it would suck and it does. I can't see the rest of the album being better with the same production as this track. She should stick to what she does best - dance music - rather than trying to be this hip hop/urban artist.

March 18, 2008 at 10:36 p.m.

I just got the full version of the track today and to me its a great song!! I dont know why there so many haters up on here and to the dumba**es that say she need to stick with what she knows you forget Madonna started off with and a r&b/urban sound and continued that throughtout times in her career erotica(which was a great underrated album) and bedtimes stories was another. I have of course have not listened to the new album yet but to me this is a sequel to the confessions album with just more of a urban/hip hop flavor and what the hell is wrong with that? I guess if you dont like that sound sucks for you. I honestly cant wait till it comes out. PEACE!!!

March 18, 2008 at 11:50 p.m.

Okay, people chill. Wether you wanna admit or not, this is a great track, and its heating up airwaves all over the world. It's like Top 10 radio in like 10 countries. It's Madonna, you bet your ass its good! And while i never had a thing for JT or Timbaland, they really do have some talent, and of course, Madonna's talent makes it better. I really wouldve wished she had more vocal lines though. Plus, Madonna has NEVER stuck to what shes known. She always breaks into soemthing new. There is not one Madonna album that sounds alike, and this one follows that pattern. And don't forget that she does very thick R&B/Urban roots. This is great!

March 19, 2008 at 10:10 a.m.

God awful and I am a HUGE Madonna fan and have been since 83. Just horrible. Hip hop? Madonna? Please! COD was the way to finish a great career, not this shameful garbage. Now she'll have to wait 2 years to come out with a new CD and her shelf life is expired as it is. She does not have 2 years more for a safer comeback CD. Confessions was the way to exit not this. Doesn't she have any honest friends in her social circle?

March 19, 2008 at 10:10 a.m.

I'm sorry...I was born in 1981 and I don't remember Madonna's urban/ R&B period. Having a black choir in "Like A Prayer" doesn't count!

This song is a grower because it's Madonna, Tim and JT, but it's kinda crap. Why is Madonna singing backing vocals for JT on her own track?

Tim over produced it because he had to find a way to hide her pathetic voice. Someone who can't sing will always sound worse next to someone who can sing...although JT's Michael Jackson impression isn't doing it for me...

March 19, 2008 at 4:39 p.m.

It's a great beat, but really could have been anyone's voice and the song would've been the same. Also the lyrics make next to no sense. I can see this being a hit in the gay bars, but dragging JT and Timbaland just smacks of desperation to appeal to a younger audience.

All in all not bad, just reeks of the gimmicky attempt to try to get young kids to like her.

March 19, 2008 at 5:17 p.m.

EVERYONE SHUT THE EFF UP!!!.....WE GOT ALOT OF HATERS UP ON HERE DONT WE??....THE TRACK IS HOT AND IM A DJ SO I WOULD KNOW.....MADONNA HAS DONE MANY STYLES OF MUSIC FROM POP TO HOUSE, NOW SHE IS TRYING A NEW SOUND AND GOT THE BEST PRODUCER OUT THERE TIMBALAND ON THE TRACK.....IT MAY NOT BE HER BEST SONG EVER BUT REMEMBER SHE HAS BEEN OUT SINCE THE 80'S PEOPLE!!

March 19, 2008 at 5:17 p.m.

Jacques if you are a huge madonna fan then you should know madonna doing hip hop is nothin new....remember justify my love had a hip hop beat and so did most of the erotica album so I think you need to have your madonna fan status taken away for not knowing that and to the others you are just bunch of haters point blank

March 19, 2008 at 8:30 p.m.

once again she pulls it off.

like a chameleon who changes image to adapt to his surroundings, madonna puts out yet another direction with this fresh catchy RNB rhythm and puts so-called veterans to shame.

this may even be her best tune yet.

March 20, 2008 at 10:28 p.m.

She rocks! Always has, always will! No-one has ever or will ever come close. She is one smart cookie!

March 21, 2008 at 12:42 p.m.

GARBAGE. I WILL NOT BE PAYING BIG BUCKS THIS TOUR TO SEE HER. ABSOLUTELY NOT. HOW DO YOU GO FROM CONFESSIONS TO THIS? HOW CAN ANYONE SAY THAT 4 MINUTES IS A GREAT MADONNA SONG? I JUST DONT GET IT. THE SOUNDS STARTS OFF WITH TIMBALAND...DOES THAT MAKE ANY SENSE ON A MADONNA ALBUM? IM PREPARING FOR EMBARRASSING PERFOMANCES FROM THIS ALBUM.

March 21, 2008 at 12:42 p.m.

Love it!

March 21, 2008 at 4:02 p.m.

It's ok. Not her best track (BEST TRACKS....Everybody, Human Nature..now that was hip hop Madonna, music, hung up) I hope the album is good. We'll see

March 22, 2008 at 12:40 a.m.

All of you a--holes who claim you're a "fan" but for some reason you hate this song-- no one believes that sh-t for one second. If you're a fan you like this song just as you like all of the rest of her extensive and varied catalogue. And for that f-ckhead who thought Confessions should have been her last album -- you're a moron. Her new deal with Live Nation is for THREE albums to start... and Hard Candy is still from her previous deal with Warner Music before she even gets to that. She's not going anywhere for a VERY long time, so get used to it. When this song becomes another huge hit for her y'all can take that issue of Billboard and shove it up your a--. Meanwhile, all of us true FANS will be applauding and dancing our asses off to our lady the Queen of Music. Go on M -- give us some candy. I can't wait.

March 23, 2008 at 2:57 a.m.

all I know is the video is the thing with Madame M. If the song is at least catchy (and they always are--that alone makes her a genuis) then u just end up watching her work her Marlene Dietrich-morphing self on and-a on-and-a-on-on-and-on til the break a dawn with whatever new boys she's found since the last time to rock with her. in conclusion, the verdict is out til the video is out.

March 23, 2008 at 3:55 p.m.

I do not hate the song! But I do think it is tooooooooooo much going much and not very original!!!!!! Madonna is trying a little too hard to fit herself into the group of young hip pop artists.

March 23, 2008 at 7:19 p.m.

i hope madonna brings out many more albums and soon but scraps this interesting experiment. if the rest of the album reaches as high as 4 minutes then it will be worth about 4 seconds of my time. a shame because as many have said, she CAN do so well. then again confessions is a hard one to follow so we'll let her off this time :-)

March 24, 2008 at 12:49 a.m.

The song is good and is gonna be a hit in the next days... U will see....
Maybe is not her best... but she always do the same thing... controversy, and she want many people hate it as love it.... as U can see

March 24, 2008 at 10:57 a.m.

I don't think the song is one of her best works AT ALL. It's a really monotonous and overproduced attempt of reaching younger audiences. It has nothing to do with the slap-in-your-face first single we were used to from her previous albums (like Frozen or Music or American Life). Hope the rest of the album is better... or at least different.

March 24, 2008 at 3:51 p.m.

Didn't like it. It's way overproduced. Loved 90s Madonna - think she is trend chasing in 2000s (though I loved Confessions).

March 25, 2008 at 9:20 p.m.

I LOVE MADONNA! I'M REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO HEARING SOME OTHER SONGS OFF THIS ALBUM LIKE "MILES AWAY." IT'S VERY NICE! 4 MINUTES HASN'T REALLY GROWN ON ME, KINDA LIKE AMERICAN LIFE, A GOOD CHORUS ON A BORING SONG..BUT EVENTUALY I'LL GET HOOKED ON IT LIKE EVERYTHING SHE DOES.I COULD PICK AT EVERYTHING I DON'T LIKE BUT THE TRUTH IS I'D RATHER JUST ENJOY HER..SHE'S AWSOME AND GIVES ME SOMETHING TO GET EXITED ABOUT!

March 25, 2008 at 11:26 p.m.

I think Madonna Sucks the Pee-Pee!

March 26, 2008 at 9:20 a.m.

i love this song. It simply grows on you. The voices of Justin and Maddy simply sound great together. The music is great.

March 26, 2008 at 9:20 a.m.

I think t's mostly her gay fan's that don'y like it cause it's not as "camp" as her other stuff so they don't know what to do with it.

I think it gets better with each play and as it's starting to prove around the world, top ten uk, another big smash

March 26, 2008 at 5:21 p.m.

lets face it, it's a bad single. it is flat, no excitement, everything sounds the same and the lyrics are dull.
Timberland is losing his spark, justin always does the same stuff (no big deal), madonna is madonna (of course) and she is experimenting like she always does (let's give her credit for that).
the most sad thing is... this song is going to be a hit.

March 26, 2008 at 11:11 p.m.

I am a huge Madonna fan, but this song is completely awful. I bought the download, but couldn't even make it through the whole song before turning it off. It took the 3 of them to come up with this?? The lyrics seem to be written by a third grader, and the music and vocals are just as bad. And the way Justin says

March 27, 2008 at 10:49 a.m.

My golly, Madonna. What a sadly horrible track. Sounds like a damaged Bollywood cassette tape. And this is not HATING, this is being objective about it.

March 27, 2008 at 10:49 a.m.

I like it. FYI for those who don't know Madonna's early r&b/urban roots. Her first single "Everybody" released in 1982 featured pics of young black boys on the front and back cover. "Holiday" had no pictures. Both were played on the urban stations here where I live. There was another woman named Shannon who had "Let The Music Play" at the same time and I can recall several times deejays getting the names mixed up as if they were the same person. I remember the day I went to pick up the album "Madonna" after hearing "Borderline" and wondering who this white woman was on the cover. I don't know if it was intentional or not but I was fooled. Of course looking back on it now it seems ludicrous - guess you just have to have been there.

March 27, 2008 at 10:49 a.m.

LOVES IT.... i didnt care too much for it at first but definately i enjoy it now. check out my video....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iHhKEEWkYW0

just when i thought i had a Timbaland overdose; his beats just lure u in and ur in that zone. tick tockk tick tock tick tock..... :-)

March 28, 2008 at 11 a.m.

This song is the most uninspiring Madonna song I have ever heard. I am a DJ the loves to spin Madonna songs but I won't be spinning this garbage.

March 29, 2008 at 3:05 a.m.

As a gay man I resent the comment that her gay fans would not like "4 Minutes." I LOVE the song, I'm gay, and it's doing VERY well all over the world. I live in New York and it's #2 in less than a week on the most influential station in the US. If it's that bad, why is it doing amazingly well? It debuted at #1 in Canada and it's #1 on almost every country's Itunes chart. I loved "Hung Up" and the Confessions cd, but what I love the most about Madonna is that each cd she makes is different. I cannot wait to get my HARD CANDY.

March 29, 2008 at 3:05 a.m.

I like the chorus, I don't care for the 'if you want it you already got it' bit. Overall it's a strong track, not her best but definitely leagues better than "Die Another Day" and "American Life."

Her last record Confessions on a Dance Floor was probably her best. This new record will probably be good but I doubt it will be as good as Confessions on a Dance Floor. But I also heard "On and On the Beat Goes" from the upcoming record and I consider that track outstanding, I'd like to see that as the next single personally.

March 30, 2008 at 3:14 a.m.

One of her worst songs ever. It's too complicated, repetitive, annoying, gives me a headache. And I love most of her songs...but this one is garbage.

March 30, 2008 at 2:48 p.m.

It's great and it get better every time you hear it. Here in Sweden it is played on air every hour.

March 30, 2008 at 11:16 p.m.

The song is amazing and sounds GREAT on the radio! LOVE IT!

March 30, 2008 at 11:16 p.m.

No concerns, no worries. If you don't get it yet, you will eventually.
Madonna's gone trashy/glam, 'peaches-y' in her look, and has turned into a hardcore, dance til you're soaking wet machine that will kick our youths ass into shape (and my own).
Love ya M-Dolla!

March 31, 2008 at 1:44 a.m.

im a big madonna fan but this song is very upsetting!

March 31, 2008 at 8:11 p.m.

Yeah, I love the track! This clever track alludes to the Doomsday Clock. Currently, it is set at 5 minutes before midnight. Madonna & Co. are saying that it is more urgent than that -hence 4 minutes to save the world. Plus the track ends at 4 mins (Oh well, with 4 secs more for Timbaland to finish his sentence)... I LOVE IT!

March 31, 2008 at 8:11 p.m.

Here is a clear studio version, instead of the bastardized version some of you have listened to...

Either you like her or hate her, just talking about her right now makes her relevant. M has a good ear for music and you can't take that away, contreversy itself would not make me buy a CD other wise I would have bought Paris Hiltons CD when her sex tape came out, just listening to Paris song made me sick. just face it you all, M has talent when it comes to making music, learn it, love it.

April 1, 2008 at 12:27 p.m.

Hey Wat's Up, i read all da comments n i must say haterade must be gettin real big cuz ya'll is guzzlin a gud amount of it. Honestly, when i first heard this song i would change the station, but since ma mayne Timbaland is one it i finally gave it a chance and it just immediately got me hooked on its beat. This beat was prolly made to compliment Justin more than M-, and to me it works to take a back seat once in awhile. Anywayz For Ya'll that dont like it GET USED TO IT CUZ ITS A HIT!!!
Or YA'LL COULD GET UR EARS CLEANED CUZ YA'LL ARE TYPE OLD!! hehehe

April 1, 2008 at 3:51 p.m.

Shut up Astro. It's obvious you don't contribute much and are just trying to promote promote promote, you're transparent. Go back to work.

Anyway, how sad. I must say this song sounds pretty good on a good system and blasting, but other than that it sucks. I was psyched that M was working with Timbaland, but it feels like the song was too controlled (assuming Madonna's fault here) and too calculated. There's no natural flow, and no vocal inspiration (by madonna or justin) to let listeners get into the song. The repeated quips are too short to be inspirational.

There is not really even ONE DAMN LINE that is beyond a couple syllables that listeners can sing along with. This is probably the biggest FUNDAMENTAL mistake of this song!

Try Again Madonna. And I am a M fan, but I feel like she's lost her groove for the last several albums and am waiting for the magic to come back.

April 1, 2008 at 6:53 p.m.

Nice song...I like it--Madonna keeps reinventing herself it seems...not sure that it'll be #1 in 5 billion countries like Hung Up, but maybe....

April 2, 2008 at 11:37 p.m.

Imagine Me and the Dweebs had just produced this as a demo and were shopping it around at your record label - would you sign us? I've been there, and if this wasn't M, JT and T, it wouldn't even get 1 minute, let alone the millions it takes to promote it.
And as for Joe ("I can see this being a hit in the gay bars") and Jules ("I think t's mostly her gay fan's that don'y like it cause it's not as "camp" as her other stuff so they don't know what to do with it") - err, where does one begin? But I'm sure both of you are equally certain you know what you're talking about.
I, for one, hope they will be playing it - a lot. That's when I get to go outside for a smoke.

You have to take your hat off to Madonna for her willingness to change and try new things. She can never be accused of being stale for she updates her sound regularly. It took me a 2nd listen to get hooked onto 4 minutes. It's a great song with busy sounds. Hard Candy will definitely be different from COADF and we expected that from Madonna.
Well, I don't mind somebody to "touch my body" if only "we belong together" - hmmm...sounds alike.

April 3, 2008 at 4:42 p.m.

A Hit!
A Hit!
A Hit!

This is not cheesy Hung Up, Holiday or Frozen. It is a bit hard-core for Madonna fans. The bass and horn are heavy for the ears all over the place but simply catchy..ticktocktock. I could not wait for the remix.

The video is going to be rocked thats for sure.

April 4, 2008 at 11:16 a.m.

Madonna's first album was r&b / freestyle roots all over it. Her second album she wrote a Motown song "Shoo Be Doo" and remade Rolls Royce's "Love Dont Live Here Anymore". Erotica, Bedtime Stories (which she had 2Pac featured on the remix of Id Rather Be Your Lover, with productions from Dallas Austin and Babyface), people actin like this is Madonnas FIRST TIME with r&b artists...DUMB.

Its not the best of the bunch, however I would take this miles over Oh Father, Dear Jessie and lots of other b.s. like Jimmy jimmy and Hanky Panky she had done so much worse in the past and present (American Life any1?)

April 4, 2008 at 5:56 p.m.

"4 Minutes" debuted at number 23 on United States' CHR/Top 40 National Airplay radio chart. It was also that chart's most added song of the week, with over 70 new stations. "4 Minutes" debuted at #18 on the Radio & Records Pop Chart on March 26, 2008............GO MADONNA!!

I HAVE BEEN A MADONNA FAN FOR 20+ YEARS NOW...AND ALL MADONNA DOES IS GET BETTER AND BETTER....NEXT TO "Confessions on a Dance"..THIS IS GOING TO BE HER BEST CD YET! THE VIDEO FOR "4 MINUTES" POPS! Love it ...just love it!! Can't wait for her new tour!!

April 5, 2008 at 1:39 p.m.

Well - its a good thing that we all got a different taste in music, hehe.

For me personally I actually think this song is pretty cool. Its Timbaland and it screams Timbaland-production, hehe. So if you are into all the new Nelly Furtado stuff, this is deffo something for you :) - and come on - like or dislike - we can all agree on that Timbaland is having major success atm, so the majority of ppl will prolly like it. Its catchy and in these days - for me - where dancemusic has turned into some really crap - this genre is a piece of fresh air

April 7, 2008 at 12:49 p.m.

Feedback and touch my body are better than this...she tries to hard to get the young black votes!!! bitch sit down and sing hung up again!!!!!!!!

April 7, 2008 at 6:20 p.m.

Pure Timbaland.
Pure Crap.
It's sucks!

April 7, 2008 at 7:35 p.m.

Labatte: "Pure Timbaland, Pure Crap"??? What are u trying to say Timbaland sux then?? He is the best producer out there now, people make me laugh hahhahha

April 8, 2008 at 10:30 a.m.

I am not a Madonna fan, but thanks to Confessions On A Dance Floor I started to get in to her music. I've been excited about this new album, that is, until I heard '4 minutes.'

4 minutes is one of the worst singles I have ever heard. The song goes nowhere, has no direction, and is lost in over-production. Absolute garbage

April 8, 2008 at 12:37 p.m.

i love dolly parton's music! she is good at what she does!

April 10, 2008 at 9:10 a.m.

Why are you people going compeltely crazy! Madonna said herself something like "i want my next album to sound like Justin's" and she wants the new R&B sound. This track is pretty good. It's sort of all over the place but it still sounds good and the lyrics are great. and obviously she won't go back to her 80s and 90s sound because well it's not the 80s or 90s. Times are changing. Music is changing into this Timbaland driven sound now. It is 2008.

April 10, 2008 at 12:04 p.m.

Madonna has always been onboard with current music trends by collaborating with the latest "new thing" in the pop industry. Unfortunately for today's sound, this includes "Timbaland & Timberlake"; lending the same tired and dated old grooves and over-produced hip-hop/urban pop sound to possibly some of the pop diva's less formidable work. It is no surprise her name is mentioned within the song as if to remind us to whom we are actually listening. However, I am sure it will serve its purpose in bringing in a younger crowd to Madonna at least for a single CD's amount of time. As for the universitality of its staying power and memorability, I'd rank it among most trendy pan-flashes: extremely forgettable and trite. Incorporating this sound into her current body of work in a live atmosphere should prove “interesting” at best.

April 11, 2008 at 1:25 a.m.

4 minutes to hear this single and I think is a total flop...something is missing ,and that something is chemistry between madonna and justin .

April 11, 2008 at 4:47 a.m.

I LOVE this track and can't wait for the album.
So it may sound a little to Timberland'ish, but still HOT even so.

April 11, 2008 at 11:06 a.m.

Get real, people! Is the song gonna be a BIG hit? Yes, it is gonna be a big hit. Does that mean that the song is any good? No it doesn't mean that the song is good, it just means that it is having MILLIONS of dollars spent on its release and that people will buy and like whatever they are told to, if they're aproached in the proper way. I am... actually I think I was... a Madonna fan and music collector, and I really think this is a terrible song: boring, overproduced, monotonous, grey, flat, and I could go on. Really hope the rest of the album is different.

April 11, 2008 at 4:56 p.m.

I have one thing to say....what the hell was that? the video is crap other then to show how good Madonna looks at her age it's boaring. The song is ok, it sounds just like Timberlands album.
the effects in the video, interesting but what does it have to do with the song? AAAAA i hate videos that are just a waist of time. There are so many young directors starting up with great ideas, Jonas & François just didn't hit it like they did with D.A.N.C.E. by Justice.

April 12, 2008 at 12:30 p.m.

Well I am a very big Madonna fan. I think this song is good and it's very different from all her songs! But hey is'nt this why we love her!

Every time a Madonna album comes out is is different than the ones before!! Then u get the 1 minute fans wo freak out because she has shifted with the current trend of music at that time. She is a leader and not a follower. Thats why she is succsessful. She is where she is today ontop because of her intellect with music and production. She is melodic, strict, hardworking and a master of change. She is a fantastic lyricist(which she never gets credit 4)and is still around nearly 30 years after her hit Holiday. She will never shy away and I commend her on this record and Album because she is a massive risk taker and seems to pull off almost every album and genre of music she creates and comes into contact with.

She will always push buttons and get a response no matter if you like it or not. Love and peace, respect to all.

Madonna is and always will be at the top because of her reluctance to give in to what people expect from her.

Expect the unexpected respect the Queen maddie my homegirl! Awite.

once again, all you Madonna haters look like idiots cause her new single "4 minutes" is HUGE!!!. The single broke a record in Canada when it debuted at number one on the Canadian CHR Audience chart. This was the first time any single debuted at the top of the chart. The song entered Canada's CHR Spin's Chart at number 5, the second song to debut within the top ten. This song also entered Canada's All Format Audience chart at number 2, the highest debut ever on the chart.

According to MediaTraffic, Madonna's 4 Minutes has now reached the #1 spot on the United World Chart Global Track Chart.

She's topping the charts all over the globe.

Madge's single is Number #1 on the iTune Charts in 14 countries out of the 22 top countries listed. From the remaining 8 countries, she's #2 or #3 in six of the them. Only Greece and Japan didn't list her on the top 10… yet. She looks hot, she is entertaining the world once again, Madonna is the last of the true musical superstars.

SO SCREW YOU HATERS LOL!!!! and once again Madonna has proved that she is the queen of f**king everything...

Justin Timberlake and Timbaland are the biggest joke that has ever hit the music industry. I have always loved Madonna but she has totally sold out and as long as this generation buys this CRAP they'll keep making millions. I could put this GARBAGE together in 5 minutes with Garage Band which is exactly what they are doing with every CD they produce! Madonna is FINISHED! Madonna has become a background singer on her own CD and given the show over to the Timbaland/Timberlake mafia!

I don’t think it's a song worth getting worked up about! People (are you adults?) calling each other "haters" for rightfully voicing their opinions, we are consumers, so we have a right to review music however we see fit. Learn to respect other’s opinions regardless of your own beliefs. Personally, I listen to a song for the lyrics, the melody, and that "magic" songs used to have and this song isn't worth 50+ postings. It's commercialism at its best...no true artistry. But, if you like it good for you! Go listen to the song and shake it up, you only got 4 minutes to enjoy the song :)

Song is "blah" not worth any hype, but then again what music is these days? JT and Timbaland (had to look up spelling) are commercial artists. Most artists backed by major recording industries sell, but sell-out when it comes to their music. Top of the charts & record selling doesn’t make the song, or artist any good. It just shows how people are attracted to candy. No pun intended really! So, relax! It’s not the end of the world if someone doesn’t agree with you on here. Lets go save the world instead of attacking each other.

People! What do you think this is, America? How dare you practice freedom of speech. Oh wait....

LOL

Can't stop laughing since I read someone calling others "haters"... woha! that's what I call fanatism!

Anyway, I totally agree with you, Chris C.

It's just a song (a bad one by the way).

You've only got 4 minutes to make your complaints...bzzzt! Game Over.

June 9, 2008 at 9:13 p.m.

This is a useless song.
Madonna is not a singer/songwriter and should not try to claim that title. She is only an entertainer.

In terms of Justin...he is a victim of Disney.

Timberland has to stop multiplying same beats and selling them to famous people.

f--k you all haters!! love the song!! sounds good! it's good... go f--k yourself maricones!!

August 22, 2008 at 12:52 a.m.

Hard Candy has, at least, 6 better tracks then 4 minutes:

- Give it 2 me (cool)
- Heartbeat (worked a lot)
- Miles Away (just cute)
- She's not me (she sould release it as a single =/)
- Beat Goes On (fcking great - best of the album)
- Devil Would't Recognize You (cry me a river by madonna)

But... i'll give it a 8,5

This is one of those songs that doesn't seem to bad the first time you hear it but then sounds worse and worse with each successive play.

An awful repetitive track.

Even after all this time, I still love this song!
