Madlib: "L.A. California"
The rabid Madlib fans out there have probably already heard what I'm about to describe, so this one is pretty much for the rest of us. His recently released eleventh entry in the Madlib Medicine Show series featured a bonus disc full of instrumentals from the blunted producer. But you only received that disc if you bought the now sold-out vinyl edition.
Realizing that the rest of Madlib's fans would want to hear those beats, Stones Throw has put them out as a digital album called Beat Konducta Around The World. It features 14 instrumentals dedicated to various locations across the globe, such as "L.A. California." The beat is pretty much just what you would expect from Madlib: Dusty grooves, chopped vocal samples, and plenty of space for an MC. Please, let this be a teaser of the next Madvillain record.
