M83: Kim & Jessie (Live in Juan’s Basement) (Video)

It might not feature rollerskating twins, but this live video (taken from Pitchfork TV’s Juan’s Basement) of M83 performing “Kim & Jessie” is pretty riveting: it’s impressive that the band is able to replicate the song’s dense production in a live (albeit basement) setting. The video also shows Juan’s Basement getting pretty arty—the band performs in front of brightly colored sheets and shadows are used effectively to create a moody scene (pretty different from the basement they made Walkmen frontman Hamilton Leithauser cram himself into a few weeks back).
