Lykke Li’s singular Wounded Rhymes is available now, and has been picking up plenty of critical plaudits for its enticing mixture of folk rhythms, garage rock, and ‘60s pop (among many other styles). Here, Li visits Morning Becomes Eclectic on KCRW, where she performs “I Follow Rivers” from that record. This is a percussion-heavy mid-paced tune that serves to show off her voice and some of her musical fascinations. The album works best when listened to as a whole, but this is a neat way to gauge whether you’re on board with her inimitable take on pop.
