Lupe Fiasco: "Stereo Sun"
As critics and fans alike expressed their disappointment in Lupe Fiasco's third album, he reacted by saying he never thought "Lasers would inspire so much negativity." Well, Lupe, maybe things would have been different if you didn't make what sounds like a typically watered-down major label rap album. Oh well, at least it's not going to hurt his pockets -- we reported that Lasers will likely be the number one album in the country this week.
But I digress. A new, non-album track from the Chicago native has hit the web this morning. It's called "Stereo Sun" and apparently he's been performing this one in concert for more than a year. Yet, somehow, it didn't make the final cut for Lasers, which is really surprising considering its catchy hook and synth-laden production. In other words, it sounds exactly like almost every other track on there. Weird.
