So, apparently the New Moon soundtrack isn't all indie rock groups; Lupe Fiasco was invited to record a track for the album, titled "Solar Midnite," which will be released as an iTunes bonus when the album comes out. An MP3 of the track is here, and it's got a more distinct rock bend to it than most of Lupe's past work. And in a move sure to send shivers of ire down the spine of Lupe fans, he claims it was inspired by his love of Red Hot Chili Pepper Anthony Kiedis, which is obviously the worst.
