Lupe released the third video -- this one for "Paris, Tokyo" -- from his critically acclaimed album The Cool. This one adopts a '50s-style vintage visual decor where a sharp-looking Lupe raps in front of an old locomotive in a peacoat and scarf. He then rides a train around the world, from Egypt to Japan, while writing postcards back to his woman. Lupe is staying consistent with the original ideas of what music videos should be, straying away from the now-typical hip-hop video format.

It's an amazing song and cleverly directed video, but this wasn't my favorite song on the CD. Probably "The Coolest", or "Gold Watch" |
