Lupe Fiasco’s “Paris, Tokyo” is quickly becoming the new version of M.I.A.’s “Paper Planes” in that it never really seems to go away even though the album it’s on (The Cool) has been out for nearly a year.
This new remix features Pharrell, Q-Tip, and Sarah Green and turns the song’s original message (“I’m so jet-setting, I go to bed in one major city and wake up in another”) and trades it for a message about the poor’s inability to travel abroad. [Nahright]
