Lupe Fiasco: "Never Forget You" f. John Legend
Despite all the label drama surrounding his upcoming third album, Lasers, Lupe Fiasco remains positive. At least, that's the message we're getting via the latest leaks from the record. First, we had "The Show Goes On," an arena-sized celebration carried by a Modest Mouse interpolation. And here we have "Never Forget You," a John Legend-assisted track that's just as upbeat. Although, this time the vibe is more about inducing nostalgia than fist-pumping with a beat that treads very closely to corny-as-hell territory. Fiasco makes it work for the most part, though, even if the piano and keys are a bit much.
