I wasn't really feeling this track when it leaked last January. Maybe it was the sour taste in my mouth left by the fact Lupe Fiasco was whining about "I'm Beamin" hitting the web so early. While I can of course sympathize with his and other artists' plight, his online rant was kind of just annoying. But now that those memories have faded and the video for this Lasers single has debuted, I understand why others were enjoying it so much. The track is lyrically very strong and the Neptunes' beat just sounds great, especially on some nice speakers. It doesn't hurt that the visuals are pretty damn slick, too.

That's kind of how I feel, too. It's definitely a nice enough track, but not his best. I'm not really diggin' the rock-ish beats he's rapping over lately either...
i can see y people whine about this song but i really like waht lupe is trying to do he is not just a rapper he is an artist.
