Lupe Fiasco: "All Black Everything"

Lupe Fiasco revealed additional details on his forthcoming, much-delayed third album, Lasers, last month. And within the discussion was a note that one of the record's tracks, "All Black Everything," was a personal favorite of his. We hadn't heard the song yet so we couldn't comment.

That changes here, of course, as "All Black Everything" has hit the web via iTunes. And even just one quick listen can show you why Fiasco is so proud of this track. Lyrically, it's definitely one of his most compelling pieces with its references to black history, politics, and hip-hop. He's basically telling the story of his dreams, which feature a world at peace with no history of slavery and a hip-hop culture in which racism had no context.

Listen to "All Black Everything" at Rap Radar if the stream below dies. Lasers drops March 8, but you can buy an iTunes pass for the album that will provide you with a download of this track.
