Ludacris: "Furiously Dangerous" f. Slaughterhouse & Claret Jai
Considering Ludacris tends to kill it on his guest verses and could expose Slaughterhouse to a bigger audience, it was good news all around when they announced their collaboration for Fast and the Furious 5. But wow, talk about a track being absolutely ruined by a downright god-awful hook. Claret Jai's off-key, forced "singing" destroys the flow of "Furiously Dangerous" to the point of no-return. Even though Luda's opening verse doesn't contain anything noteworthy, it still works in the context of the track. And the Slaughterhouse guys all sound great over frequent collaborator Mr. Porter's synth-heavy production. But I don't think anyone will want to listen to "Furiously Dangerous" unless a sans-Claret Jai version is released.
