Considering the band rode MySpace to its logical conclusion (a contract with, uh, Arts & Crafts) its not surprising that Los Campesinos! are streaming three new tracks from their surprise sophomore album, We Are Beautiful, We Are Doomed at their MySpace page for your perusal.

All of the songs crackle with distorted guitars, blippy organs, strings, and hyper-detail thanks to lead Campesino! Gareth’s exhaustive lyrics. The three songs, as a whole, seem a little more downtrodden than Hold On Now, Youngster, and nowhere is that more evident than the title track, which details a break-up (with the whirlwind year this gang has had, how could Gareth have time to have a broken relationship?) and includes this line: “There’s future in the fucking/ But there is no fucking future.” I feel you bro.

We Are Beautiful, We Are Doomed is due out on October 13 in the UK via Wichita and is due out a Tuesday in November stateside via Arts & Crafts.
