"Kindle A Flame In Her Heart" comes from the inaugural edition of Heat Rash, a new quarterly zine not surprisingly released by the bookish indie poppers Los Campesinos!. Each future issue of Heat Rash will come with a limited edition Los Campesinos! 7", in addition to deals on the band's merch, concert tickets, and advance album previews. Keeping in line with their recent Romance Is Boring, "Kindle A Flame In Her Heart," is a bit more downcast than their earlier material, and what better holiday to get some angst out about than Christmas? Despite the bummer sentiments, it's a catchy as all get-out track, and gets unexpectedly soulful during its last section. Give it a listen below.
