Apparently sadness for Los Campesinos! involves getting dragged, eating noodles, shaved, being sunburned with a pineapple on your back, brought down an escalator, sandpapered, and purple nurpled. It's a very literal exercise in torture for a band that usually sticks to deeply tortured metaphorical depictions of torture.
