Here's another video of Local Natives at SXSW taken by the Yours Truly folks. This one is of "Wide Eyes," the excellent opening track from their debut album, Gorilla Manor. It feels like it should be way harder to capture a band's acoustic performance in a backyard, but the audio quality, the video and everything else is beautiful here. Any excuse to hear this song on a Friday morning is more than welcome. If this band can get some decent festival spots and a little more commercial cross-promotion, they could blow up like the Fleet Foxes.
