The Yours Truly folks caught up with buzzing indie band Local Natives at this year's SXSW, capturing the young band performing an acoustic take of "Sticky Thread," a standout track from their splendid debut, Gorilla Manor, in a backyard somewhere in Austin. The touchstones are all here--Grizzly Bear, Fleet Foxes, My Morning Jacket--but Local Natives are able to transcend their easy-spot influences with sheer earnestness. These dudes may be in their early '20s, but they carry themselves like a band that's been around for as long as they've been alive.
