Like Cee-Lo Green's "Fuck You" before it, Lloyd's latest single, "Dedication to My Ex (Miss That)," loses its bite in its censored form. Why? Because he had to replace the gratuitous use of the word "pussy" with "lovin'." Sure, it works, but what made the track intriguing in the first place was its crassness. Now? It just sounds like another Michael Jackson rip-off, even if it is catchy as fuck. Anyway, Lloyd gave the single a notable boost last night when he performed it live on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, a choice setting for something that's been watered down.
