Little Dragon: "Ritual Union" (Tensnake Remix)
We still have to wait three more weeks to hear Little Dragon's third album, Ritual Union. In the meantime, we will have to keep their remix EP on repeat. The release, which also goes by Ritual Union, is driven by its title-track. "Ritual Union" appears in its original form and then gets remixed by Maya Jane Coles and Tensnake while "Nightlight" gets remixed by Unknown Mortal Orchestra. Thus far, we have only heard German producer/DJ Tensnake's version, which the Swedish band uploaded to their Facebook recently. He maintains frontwoman Yukimi Nagano's gripping vocal lead while slowing down the original music of "Ritual Union" to a sleepy pace and injecting additional percussion. You might need some caffeine before you hear this one.
