The part of the country that's up in arms about the government's "socialist policies," afraid that the White House is trying to turn the country into Sweden, probably wouldn't be so afraid if they knew about the consistent stream of good music flowing out of our godless, totalitarian, nordic brethren. Little Dragon hails from Gothenburg, and "Feather" pushes their particular brand of down-tempo, spaceous pop, while singer Yukimi Nagano contributes vocals that would sound at home in a lot of modern R&B. Yeah, becoming more like a country full of tall, well-dressed, talented people is one of the worst things that could happen to us. God bless America. [Pitchfork]
