I generally find "hot new thing" predictions pretty pointless and self-gratifying, but I think Little Boots is a pretty safe bet for 2009. The handful of tracks released by former Dead Disco member Victoria Hesketh have been blogged and lauded from here to Sunday, and with good reason. It's only a matter of time before they're giving her play on Gossip Girl, The Hills, and wherever else "cool" TV executives rear their heads.  This Treasure Fingers remix of "Meddle" is just another to add to the excellent group of remixes inspired by the Little Boots track. Treasure Fingers gives Boots a spot of robot voice, and takes some of the tooth out of her warnings against "meddling" with a response that promises he won't. [Discobelle]
