I've never really been sure why Lily Allen's famous, apart from sounding ordinarily pleasant and being reasonably cute. It probably has something to do with Allen's willingness to appear foolish in public, which is a credit opposed to celebrities who spend all of their time acting as if they were private citizens when their business is all over the internets. Allen appeared on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross last week to perform "The Fear," the first single from her new album It's Not Me, It's You due out in the U.S. on Capitol on Feb. 10. They also take some pretty good shots at Lady Gaga.

It's so great to see Wossy back in the seat, and Lily looks and sounds f**king fantastic.
