Lily Allen was in glamorous pin-up mode last night when she performed "The Fear" from her new album, It's Not Me, It's You, on Leno. The song seems pretty drab and flat when performed here (and arguably on wax), just like it did when she did it on the Today Show. But she does have a pretty good time doing the song, and she spends some (maybe too much) time mugging for the cameras. Leno comes on at the end with Kevin Bacon, who looks crispy and delicious (ha, pun), and, uh....yeah. I really just mentioned that to make the corny Kevin Bacon joke. [Stereogum]
She looks tanner. California sun?
There's something weird about this song, and Lilly Allen for singing it (if not maybe writing some of it). Its either a worthless piece of crap. Or, its a signal bad things are on the horrizon. Some sort of reverse psychology warning?
one of the better songs off a rather disappointing album. she is indeed looking fabulous though..
