The Big Pink is a sort of industrial britpop band that sounds pretty much designed to get huge (even though this fall when they come stateside, they will be playing pretty small venues). The fact that they've remixed big deal Lily Allen's "22" seems to prove that point; they give the track some of their usually abrasive, dirty electronic sound, and make Allen edgier and more interesting than she's ever sounded on her own.
The Big Pink's remix of "22" appears as a b-side for the track's 7-inch single. The Big Pink's A Brief History of Love is out Sept. 22 on 4AD. Stream the remix below.
