Remember when Lil Wayne shot like a dozen videos before starting his prison sentence earlier this year? Well, we have already seen at least a handful of them, with most used to promote the Young Money album. But this time around, it's all about Weezy and No Ceilings standout "Single," which features a subdued beat from 40 & Omen. The video doesn't really do much other than follow some of Wayne's lyrics, such as shots of some woman looking pissed off as she hangs up the phone and later stabs a cake. About halfway through your viewing, it's likely you will, as I did, question the point of this video. I might be missing something but it's not like this was released as a single or got much play on the radio. And wasn't Drake supposed to be in this video singing a different hook? Who knows.
