Via QD3 Entertainment, the production company behind the Lil Wayne documentary, The Carter, out tomorrow on DVD, has posted a few clips from the film on their YouTube page.
This controversial film, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year, garnered rave reviews for its unflinching portrait of an artist on the brink of super-stardom, his passion and superhuman work ethic working parallel with his addiction to drugs. After an attempt by Wayne to have therelease of the film blocked in court back in April, and a judge ruling against him, it will finally see an audience almost a year after its initial premiere.
Judging by the clips, the film promises to be everything already claimed and more, full of left field Wayne-isms, brilliant highdeas, and the artistic bravery to pull it all together. To watch the rest of the clips, visit the QD3 YouTube page here.
